SOFIA / HAWC+

HAWC+ is a multiband imaging and polarimetry camera for the SOFIA airborne observatory. It consists of two 64x40 TES (transition-edge sensor) arrays simultaneously measuring in orthogonal polarizations. It produces fully-sampled images in 5 bands, centered at 53, 62, 89, 155, and 216 micron wavelengths, respectively. HAWC+ is an operational facility instrument since 2016.
