NAME
esorename - Rename ESO archive files to their original APEX file names.
SYNOPSIS
esorename
<filename>
...
DESCRIPTION
The ESO archive stores files under a different naming convention from APEX. However, the data reduction tools
crush(1)
or BoA
work most comfortably with the original naming convention, which allows these software to identify scans by project names and serial numbers. This tool allows the user to recover the original APEX file names, and thus to make it easier to read these data into the processing software.
Simply list the files (with wildcard etc., if you will) that you want to be renamed. The tool will not touch any files that already have their proper APEX names.
FILES
- ~/.crush2/startup/esorename/
-
Location of user-specific
java(1)
runtime configurations.
