NAME
histogram - Histogram generation tool for CRUSH maps and more.
SYNOPSIS
histogram
[options]
<filename>
DESCRIPTION
Generate a histogram from a
crush(1)
or BoA
FITS
image. The histogram can be generated from any image plane of the map (see the
-image
option). Often, one may desire to pre-process the maps (e.g. by smoothing, filtering or clipping) using
imagetool(1),
before feeding it to the
histogram
tool.
The histogram data will be written as an ASCII table into a file named
'histogram-s2n.<source-name>.fits'
in the same location as the input, unless the
-out
option is used to specify it otherwise.

All options of
imagetool(1)
are also used by
histogram.
Additionally
histogram
